What is your current title?

Product Marketer

When did you join the FindLaw team/how did you get here?

I joined FindLaw in March of 2008 leading to my departure from Medtronic, Inc.

What interests you most about lawyer marketing or your functional area?

I have enjoyed the challenge of incorporating the growing emergence of online video with FindLaw’s overall legal marketing strategies for law firms trying to establish or grow their online presence. Legal videos add a dynamic component to online marketing, truly giving a firm the opportunity to display their expertise and unique personality, allowing a potential customer the ability to select a firm that best fits their needs. I find it intriguing to think about how current and future technologies will assist both law firms and those seeking legal assistance, especially as more law firms adopt online video as a part of their marketing strategy.

What activities does your work day typically involve?

In general, my role requires working with cross-functional groups across the organization to ensure proper positioning of FindLaw’s video products in the marketplace. On a given day, I may collaborate with Product Development, Marketing Communications, Customer Operations, Sales and Account Management, and Engineering and Finance in order to bring new products to market, establish competitive pricing, articulate product performance, and develop promotions and sales campaigns. My day may consist of developing long-term strategies like product roadmaps and marketing campaigns or addressing more immediate responsibilities like clarifying product business rules or answering inquiries from customers. We are constantly gathering feedback, implementing pilots and monitoring the competition so we can deliver video products that deliver more value for our customers.

What are your interests outside of FindLaw?

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, attending sporting events, camping and cooking.
