What is your current title?
When did you join the FindLaw team / how did you get here?
I transferred to FindLaw in 1999 from the academic area of Credit Order Processing for print and WestLaw products within Thomson Reuters. I primarily worked with law schools and their WestLaw service for law students.
What interests you most about lawyer marketing or your functional area?
The ever-changing nature of the Internet motivates me to keep learning in order to provide quality service to my clients. FindLaw products help lawyers grow their practice, so my daily activities are centered on that goal. It’s satisfying to play a small role in a large part of a law firm’s advertising efforts, and very rewarding to see the results that come from their investments in our products.
What activities does your work day typically involve?
I consult with customers via phone and email regarding the performance and maintenance of their FindLaw products. I also work closely with FindLaw Client Development Consultants in renewing current FindLaw accounts. Each day is different and every customer is unique. Whether I am trouble-shooting a technical issue, renewing a client’s FindLaw product mix, or consulting on how to improve website performance, I need to communicate in a way that helps the subject of online marketing make sense to my customer.
What are your interests outside of FindLaw?
I enjoy spending time with my family. Activities include attending my children’s sporting and school events. Our family also enjoys boating, fishing and swimming at a family cabin in the summer months.
