Welcome to another post from our “Meet the FindLaw Team” series. “Meet the FindLaw Team” provides insight into the day-to-day lives of our colleagues. Today we feature FindLaw Account Manager Rod Jackson. Get to know Rod by reading about his experiences at FindLaw below.
What is your current title?
When did you join the FindLaw team/how did you get here?
I started in February of 2009 in the Client Development Associate (CDA) program. For the next 18 months, I worked diligently to gain a vast amount of valuable information about our industry. Last August, I was given the opportunity to further apply my industry knowledge in the Account Management Program.
What interests you most about lawyer marketing or your functional area?
Serving as an Account Manager can be a very challenging and rewarding job. I have the privilege to hear firsthand our clients’ appreciation when I guide them through their overall online marketing plan. I enjoy working in an industry that is rapidly growing and evolving. I am continually reminded of how our products have come so far in such a short amount of time, and I anticipate seeing what the timeline wall will look like in ten, or even five years.
What activities does your work day typically involve?
I manage updating websites, addressing client concerns, renewing contracts and guiding clients through their overall online marketing plan. At the end of the day, my goal is to build and maintain excellent relationships with the clients I serve.
What are your interests outside of FindLaw?
My wife Anne and I have a 2 Â½ year old daughter named Ashley. Each day I come home to Ashley’s big smile, and spend the rest of the day hanging out with her. Recently, Ashley and I planted our first vegetable garden together and I’m keeping my fingers crossed. We hope after all our hard work planting, watering and chasing the bunnies away, that we’ll have some vegetables at the end of the season.
