FindLaw is growing, and we’re looking for some new talent to fulfill one of the most important roles for our fast-paced business: Client Development Associates.

Client Development Associates, or CDAs, are often FindLaw’s first points of contact for lawyers who are looking for help with their websites and online marketing strategies.

What exactly does a CDA’s job entail?

When a lawyer or law firm considers FindLaw for their marketing needs, FindLaw’s Client Development Associates are there to help.

Through direct conversations by phone and email, CDAs listen to what lawyers want from FindLaw’s team of marketing experts — whether it’s setting up a simple (or complex) website, expanding their social media presence, or ranking higher in search-engine results, to name just a few common goals.

Of course, many of these goals are interrelated, and CDAs assist lawyers in assessing their needs and priorities. CDAs then share that assessment with FindLaw’s Client Development Consultants, who work in the field throughout the country.

Together, CDAs and Consultants work to promote FindLaw’s family of products, including custom-built websites, different types of listings in our online lawyer directory, and even blogging and video-production services — basically, anything that can help lawyers land more clients and boost their bottom lines.

CDA positions are full-time, and are based at FindLaw’s main office in Eagan, Minnesota. A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing is strongly preferred, as is experience with cold calling and customer-facing business-to-business sales.
