LOGGING INTO FIRMSITE PUBLISHER QUICK POST
To log into FirmSite Publisher and your Quick Post Interface:
- Navigate to the FirmSite Publisher Quick Post login page: http://fspub.findlaw.com/fseditor/bloglogin.jsp
- Enter your User Name in the "User Name" field. (User name is your email address. If you do not have or have forgotten your password, you can request it using the Forgot Your Password link. The system will email your password to you.)
- Enter your Password in the "Password" field.
- Click the "Login" button.
After logging in, the "Quick Post" page will display, defaulted to selecting or creating a topic:

ADDING YOUR FIRST TOPIC OR A NEW TOPIC
To add a topic to your blog:
- If you just logged in, you will be defaulted to Create a New Topic.
- If you are already logged in, Select “Create a New Topic” from the drop-down under the Blog Menu on the left side of the interface.
- Fill in the Title of the new topic in the Editor window.
- Optionally fill in the Introduction and Closing text.
- Click the submit button at the bottom of the page.
- Your new topic will be added to the Topic Drop-down List under the Blog Menu.
ADDING NEW POSTS
To add a new post:
- Once logged in, select the Topic from the Topic drop-down list under the Blog Menu on the left side of the interface.
- Click the Add Post link that displays below the topic drop-down list.
- In the Editor window, fill in the Post Title, Post Content, optionally the Post Abstract and Attachment(s).
- Post Title: Will display as the title for your post in the list of posts on your blog.
- Post Content: If no abstract is included, the Post Content will display in its entirety on the Post List on your blog. If your post is lengthy, add a Post Abstract and we will display a Continued Reading link for your blog visitors to click to read the full post content on a separate page linked to the post list.
- Post Abstract: Optionally add an abstract for your post.
- Attachment(s): You may optionally load an attachment file to be associated with your post. The file name of the file you upload will display as the link to for visitors to download the file from your blog.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the page
- After submitting successfully, you will be taken to the list of posts for the topic.



EDIT EXISTING POST
To edit an existing post:
- After logging in, select the Topic for the post you wish to edit from the topic drop-down list under the Blog Menu.
- Click the Edit Post link.
- A list of the posts for the topic selected will display in the Editor window.
- Click on the Modify button below the title of the post you wish to edit in the Editor window.
- The post will open in the Editor Window.
- Make your changes.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
- After successfully submitting, the post list will again display in the Editor window.

PREVIEW OR PUBLISH YOUR BLOG
To preview & publish your blog site:
- After adding or editing your post(s), click the Preview button on the Site Commands bar in the upper right hand corner of the interface.
- The preview will open up to the home page of your blog.
- Preview your blog site.
- When ready, click the Publish Button from the preview window.
- A message will display confirming successful publishing of your blog.

To publish without previewing:
- You may optionally publish without previewing by clicking on the Publish button in the Site Command bar instead of the Preview button.
- You will be asked if you are sure you want to publish. Answer yes.
- A pop-up window will display with a message confirming that your blog has been successfully published.
- At this time, you may view your changes on your public blog site.

ADD OR EDIT OTHER PAGES OF YOUR BLOG SITE
- To edit or add other pages to your blog site:
- Click the Edit Site button from the Site Command bar.
- You will be asked if you wish to leave the Quick Post interface and enter FirmSite Publisher.
- Answer yes.
- You will now be able to view all your site pages in the Site Structure Tree of FirmSite Publisher.
