This statistic is a key metric for conversion. The number of Contact Us Page Visits is perhaps the most telling indicator of the overall effectiveness of your site. A large number of contacts clearly has the potential to produce a large number of clients.

One crucial factor to consider here is how many visits to a contact page result in an actual contact. If there's a significant discrepancy between these two numbers, it may tell you that something on the contact page is driving visitors away. Is the contact form too long? Too complicated? Too intrusive? If the visitor has gone to the contact page, then the rest of your site has apparently done its job. It may only be a matter of identifying and removing some obstacle to convert contact page visits to actual contacts.

  • Online intake forms
  • Surveys
  • Contact us forms
  • Newsletter sign-up

Location pages, including maps (While not a contact per se, a visit to a location map intuitively tells you that the visitor may be ready to visit your firm in person).

Note: You can find out how many people successfully filled out your "Contact Us" form simply by entering in the URL of your contact us form and your "Thank You" page into the search bar at the top of the page. For example, if your contact us page URL is http://www.mylawfirm.com/contactus.html, you can simply type in "contactus" to see how many times this page was visited.
