Mitch Short has over 25 years experience in sales and marketing for a variety of business and product categories. He has worked in the consumer products market, consumer services, hospitality industry, mass media sales management, and the professional services category.
Most recently, Mr. Short served as the Budweiser Brand Manager for Anheuser-Busch Inc. for over 10 years and he also was the general sales Manager for three radio stations in Denver.
Mr. Short joined the Sawaya Law Firm in February of 2003 in the firms 26th year of operation. Mr. Short has implemented a marketing plan that has taken the firm from 1.5 million in gross revenue to what is projected in 2007 at close to 7 million. The firm has grown in these three short years from a staff of 21 employees to 60 full time employees.
In addition to serving as the Marketing Director for The Sawaya Law Firm, Mr. Short also is the President of MediaLaw, an advertising and consulting firm that consults with attorneys on marketing, advertising and practice management issues.

Clifford Eley

Cliff Eley has been practicing law in Colorado for 23 years. His practice is limited to representation of injured workers. He is a founding member and current president of the Workers Compensation Education Association and serves on the Executive Committee of the Workers Compensation Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
From the start of his practice Mr. Eley has used various methods to find new clients, including television, radio, yellow pages and the internet. He recognizes that investment in client development is only effective if inquiries can be converted to clients.
Mr. Eley is a founding member of the Workers Compensation Education Association. The WCEA is an association is Colorado's largest and foremost association of claimant's attorneys.
Mr. Eley is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and a past chairman of the Workers Compensation Section of the Colorado Bar.
