I am very pleased to announce that FindLaw as been awarded four 2006 WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association.

The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and web development on the World Wide Web. Within the Internet world, the WebAwards are highly recognized and sought after. If the Webby’s are the web world’s Oscar™, then the WebAwards are surely the web world’s SAG™ awards – as these are not simply creative awards, but industry awards.

As you can see, FindLaw was awarded the Best Legal Website, a tremendous accomplishment for us and the firm. Out of thousands of legal entries, many from the “Big” creative agencies, FindLaw and the team on Yanowitch Law’s Firmsite created a site that received the highest judge scores and most positive feedback from the judging board.

In addition, three web sites received the Legal Standard of Excellence Award for receiving committee scores higher than the industry average, as well as the award average – meaning they were the highest non-best overall site award recipients.

Receiving 4 WebAwards is a huge accomplishment for us. FindLaw’s place within the legal web producers’ community is solidified as a preeminent player and one with results, recognition, and success.
